A slightly significant reduction in root elongation compared to the control was indeed observed at the maximum and minimum tested concentrations, 2.5 and 0.156 mg mL −1 , respectively, while at intermediate concentrations, M-SER exhibited a stimulating effect, significantly so at both 0.313 and 1.5 mg mL −1 .
