The two subpopulations were also comparable for what concerns the main clinical parameters, even though HCV mono-infected persons showed a trend towards some more liver damage, possibly due to the fact that there was a trend for a lower proportion of subjects in this subpopulation who had already achieved a sustained virological response (SVR) at the study entry.
