Although the HBOT group tended to show better improvement in hearing from 1000 to 8000 Hz compared to the non‐HBOT group, the difference did not reach statistical significance by the IPTW method. 3.3 Stratification by confounders When stratification was performed by clinical confounders, IPT‐weighted hearing improvement tended to be consistently higher in the HBOT group compared to the non‐HBOT group except with vertigo and hypertension (Figure 2B ).
