It is worth noting, however, that in experiments by other authors with various plant species, in which plants organs were forced to move (e.g., by wind), they may have reacted with quite significant changes in the anatomical structure of the stem, manifested, among others, by varying thickness and height (Telewski and Jaffe 1986 ).
