Interestingly, we observed a significant trend toward increasing prevalence of alcohol use disorder ranging from carrier of “other” VGLUT3 mutations (16.7%) to p.T8I carriers (40%) and to VGLUT3 non-mutated patients (62.4%) (trend test, p = 0.013).
