Although the increase in scavenging temperature caused an increase in the cylinder temperature, the increase in scavenging temperature caused an increase in the volume of scavenging air per unit mass, resulting in a decrease in the amount of fresh air in the cylinder, which led to a decrease in the combustion reaction rate of the natural gas, and the heat release rate curve also showed a trend of decreasing with the increase in scavenging temperature (Fig. 14 ).
