In our study, when looking at the surgical outcomes more specifically, in stage 2 ERM, there was a nonsignificant trend toward a decrease in the mean FCP thickness and mean CMT, whereas the mean BCVA had improved by 6 months ( P = 0.05), and this became significant at the 12-month and last recorded follow-up visit.
