4 Discussion 4.1 Summary of the findings On the basis of a careful systematic review and meta-analysis, our findings revealed a trend of lower post-operative TR in the rigid ring group compared to flexible band group that did not reach statistical significance (RR = 0.74, 95 % CI 0.43–1.27, P = 0.29).
