There were also numerical reductions in the rates of stroke (0.39% versus 0.14%, P = 0.387), transient phrenic nerve paresis (0.46% versus 0.09%, P = 0.344) and mortality (0.06% versus 0%, P = 0.323), although these did not reach statistical significance.
