In contrast to our results, they found that vitamin E reduced serum creatinine increase after exposure to contrast medium (SMD (95% CI): −0.27 (−0.49, −0.06); P = 0.010), while the difference in the changes of GFR did not reach statistical significance (SMD (95% CI): 0.21 (−0.01, 0.43); P = 0.060).
