Discussion In this study, TyG–BMI and TyG–WHtR demonstrate a positive correlation with arthritis prevalence in both CHARLS and NHANES, those in the fourth quartile exhibited higher arthritis prevalence compared to those in the first quartile, with a significant trend test.
