The findings align with previous studies, although the relative increase in all‐cause mortality observed in the present study did not reach statistical significance. 15 , 16 In addition, the observed mortality among those with LVEF of 10% to 35% compared with those with LVEF of 36% to 49% was lower in the present study compared with these previous reports, where the relative mortality reached 40% to 50%. 15 , 16 It may be speculated that more severely reduced LVEF associates more strongly with increased mortality.
