Furthermore, a systematic review and network meta-analysis evaluating different dosing strategies for regorafenib in refractory mCRC revealed that a flexible regorafenib dose-escalation strategy (defined as regorafenib 80 mg/day with weekly dose escalation if no significant drug-related toxicities, up to 160 mg/day) was superior to best supportive care, and showed a trend in survival benefit compared with regorafenib standard dosing [ 16 ].
