A meta-analysis showed that urine CXCL10 tended to be higher in patients with active-LN compared to non-active LN patients, but did not reach statistical significance ( Puapatanakul et al., 2019 ).This is due to significant individual variations in LN urinary chemokines and variability in chemokine abundance ( Klocke et al., 2017 ).
