Furthermore, the APIM studies of playfulness and satisfaction indicated a positive relationship between Whimsical playfulness and partners’ mistrust, but these did not reach statistical significance ( p s = 0.058 and 0.061), and our study aimed at clarifying the role of Whimsical in such inclinations by testing the associations with the three fine-grained facets of jealousy.
