The separate analyses of linear correlation in subjects without and with colorectal lesions revealed a moderately significant positive correlation in those without lesions between feces putrescine and spermidine ( r = 0.685, p = 0.002, n = 18), N -acetyl putrescine ( r = 0.606, p = 0.008, n = 18), and cadaverine ( r = 0.591, p = 0.01, n = 18).
