For partial injuries, there was a trend favoring surgical treatment, with the surgical group showing a higher mean PHAS of 89.4 (SD, 8.9) compared with 77.8 (SD, 21.8) in the nonsurgical group, although this did not reach statistical significance ( P = .49) ( Figure 2 ).
