Furthermore, sensitivity analysis using the estimated standard values of V̇O 2peak /BW in the Japanese population as the cutoff for the CRF group showed a borderline significance of the interaction between PRS TG and CRF on the prevalence of high TG as well as that between PRS TG and CRF on obesity.
Our sensitivity analysis revealed that PRS TG –CRF FFM (V̇O 2peak /FFM) interaction on TG levels did not reach statistical significance, suggesting that the interaction between PRS and CRF (V̇O 2peak /BW) on TG levels was confounded by body composition (mainly fat mass), and the confounding was not eliminated by factoring BMI in the model.
