Patients who completed concurrent chemoradiotherapy showed a trend of survival benefits, which was consistent with previous reports. 20 , 22 , 30 Multivariate regression analysis revealed that clinical stage remained an important prognostic factor, and patients who received surgical treatment had a significant survival advantage compared to those who did not undergo surgery (Figure 5 ).
