51 , 52 , 53 A recent systematic review and meta‐analysis showed a trend of decreased seizure frequency with moderate exercise in people with epilepsy. 54 In this review of the data, exercise activities included stationary cycling, resistance training (such as bicep curls, leg presses, etc.), walking or running on a treadmill, strength training with exercise equipment, supervised activities (basketball, soccer, dance, etc.), and home‐based aerobic and flexibility exercises.
