On day 14, the MVD in the irradiated animals showed a trend towards recovery in vascular density and diameter consistent with the baseline in the non-irradiated control group with the recovery being less in the PBS-treated ( Figure 2E ) compared to the TPOm-treated ( Figures 2F, G ).
