In the NTM cohort, we observed a significant elevation in biotin metabolism and tryptophan metabolism, while enrichments in pathways such as D-arginine and D-ornithine metabolism, carbon fixation pathways in prokaryotes, sphingolipid metabolism, and N-glycan biosynthesis were noted but did not reach statistical significance.
