Patients receiving segmentectomy trended toward having a greater proportion of squamous cell cancers (24.0% segmentectomy vs 15.4% lobectomy) and a lower proportion of adenocarcinoma (49.0% segmentectomy vs 56.6% lobectomy); however, these differences did not reach statistical significance ( P = .06).
