Importantly, we did not see compelling evidence of an association between effect size and study size for any of the meta-analyzed outcomes (an apparent trend for the outcome of any analgesia versus no analgesia when comparing Hispanic to non-Hispanic White patients is not significant, being based on just 4 studies, and is better explained as a regression leverage effect).
