When direction of effects and effect sizes were considered, young people using hybrid closed-loop appeared to have better sleep at 6 months after diagnosis as compared with those receiving SC (this was the case for 5 of the 6 sleep measures considered [sleep duration, sleep efficiency, latency, number of awakenings, and participant’s PSQI], although effect sizes were either very small or small for all variables, and none approached significance).
