There appeared to be a trend for RDs working in weight management, who tended to choose WFPBDs as a recommended diet for the management of T2DM (although this did not reach statistical significance, 29% of RDs in this specialty area recommend this dietary pattern, p = 0.0993), CVD (40%, p ≤ 0.0001) and weight loss (34%, p = 0.0172), relative to the other specialty areas of dietetics (Supporting Information S1: Table S6–8 ).RDs specialising in EDs appeared to be more likely to recommend WFPBDs for T2DM ( p = 0.0238) and weight loss ( p = 0.0024).
