Our primary analysis utilizing the IVW method revealed that a one-unit increase in log-transformed CRP concentrations (mg/L) was associated with a 9.7% heightened risk of overall EC, although the association did not reach statistical significance (OR = 1.097, 95% CI: 0.996–1.208, P = .061).
