In the unadjusted model (Model 1), DNAm-predicted GDF15 as a continuous variable was associated with a hazard ratio (HR) of 1.48 (95% CI: 1.36–1.61, P < 0.001), and as a categorical variable, the second tertile (T2) had an HR of 3.17 (95% CI: 2.39–4.21, P < 0.001), while the third tertile (T3) showed an HR of 9.17 (95% CI: 6.97–12.08, P < 0.001), with a significant trend ( P for trend < 0.001).
