The variables “other disease” and Standardbred breed showed a trend similar to univariate analyses but without statistical significance in the final multivariate model (OR 4.09, 95% CI 0.78–21.06, P = 0.092 for “other disease”; OR 0.12, 95% CI 0.01–1.35, P = 0.085 for Standardbred vs. other breeds).
