In the Model 3, individuals with blood Cd concentrations in the second, third, and fourth quartile respectively had adjusted ORs of 1.12 (95% CI: 0.92, 1.36), 1.33 (95% CI: 1.08, 1.65), and 1.64 (95% CI: 1.38, 1.94) for depression, with a significant trend ( P trend < 0.001).
