The CSF p-tau/β-amyloid 42 ratio correlates with brain structure and fibrillary β-amyloid deposition in cognitively unimpaired individuals at the earliest stages of pre-clinical Alzheimer's disease.

When inspecting GMV, we found a nominally significant main effect of CSF p-tau/Aβ42 in the Braak III and IV ROI indicating a positive association, which, however, did not survive correction for multiple testing ( F 1228 = 4.03, P = 0.04, pFDR = 0.11, η p 2 = 0.31 ; Fig. 2A and B ).
