Though birth size measured as a categorical variable did not reach statistical significance, the continuous z ‐score measure was found to be important in the contrast of neonates exposed and unexposed to cannabis during pregnancy, resulting in a statistically significant association ( ß model4 = −0.3; 95% CI: −0.5, −0.003).
