Relative to women with exposure to neither agent who experienced increases in BMD in each region (Table 2 ), the decline was statistically significantly different for lumbar spine [adjusted mean difference in percent change = −3.35, 95% confidence interval (CI) −5.13 to −1.56, P = 0.001] and for total hip (adjusted mean difference in percent change = −2.24, 95% CI −3.87 to −0.60, P = 0.009) and approached significance for the femoral neck (adjusted mean difference in percent change = −1.71, 95% CI −3.73 to 0.31, P = 0.102).
