Several single-arm prospective studies and a meta-analysis of many retrospective studies revealed that patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) with solitary and synchronous oligometastasis who received LCT and/or systemic chemotherapy showed a trend toward prolonged survival in subgroup analyses [ 7 – 10 ].
