When comparing BIDQ scores in IBD patients with active disease to those in clinical remission (defined as HBI < 5, CDAI < 150, or SCCAI ≤ 2), patients with inactive disease showed a tendency toward lower BIDQ scores; however, this difference did not reach statistical significance (mean BIDQ 1.93 vs. 2.36, p = 0.08).
