Although MIF protein levels did not show statistically significant differences among all groups at 6 h of treatment, at 24 h, there was a slight increase in MIF protein levels in the group treated with 500 μM cobalt chloride alone and in the group co-treated with 500 μM cobalt chloride and ISO-1; however, this increase did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 4 A,B,D,E).
