While vaping prevalence was also high among students who identified as transgender, gender diverse and/or questioning, the contrast with boys/men did not reach statistical significance. 1 Taken together, the findings suggest emerging trends in vaping by gender, which may be particularly important to monitor in young populations, given that they are substantially more likely to be nonbinary in gender identity and/or expressions. 20 Dual use, as well as vaping and former smoking, were significantly associated with mood and/or anxiety disorders.
