When we plotted the aspect ratio against granule size (the 2‐D area occupied by the granule in the image) for all granules imaged per line, we saw a strong trend that granules became less circular (i.e., had decreased aspect ratios) as their size increased in the control and MRC‐OE lines (Figure 5e,g ).
