Pre-dialysis and intradialytic aortic DBP levels were also significantly different between low and standard dialysate sodium (pre-dialysis: 85.9±12.8 vs 91.8±11.2 mmHg, p=0.005; intradialytic: 87.0±13.2 vs 90.0±12.6 mmHg, p=0.028), while post-dialysis aortic DBP was lower with low dialysate sodium but did not reach statistical significance (93.8±15.5 vs 97.3±14.9 mmHg, p=0.114).
