38 While statistics from Australia/New Zealand, Denmark, and North America did not show enhanced survival rates of pOHCA, recent figures from Sweden reveal a positive trend: the 30-day survival rate for children aged 0–21 years climbed from 6% during 1992–1998 to 14% between 2007 and 2012. 1 , 39 , 40 , 41 In our study, we observed a survival rate at hospital discharge of 36.1% for shockable patients, against 3.52% for non-shockable patients.
