Discussion In this cohort of postmenopausal women, we observed a decreased risk of incident FECD in women with a baseline BMI of ≥35 kg/m 2 (obesity levels II and III) compared to <25 kg/m 2 (underweight/normal weight), a significant trend for decreasing risk of FECD by increasing category of BMI, and an inverse association between WC and WHR and incident FECD.
