The analysis found that children in the esketamine group had a shorter stay in the PACU than the control group (MD = −2.03, 95% CI: [−4.20, 0.14], p = 0.07, I 2 = 95%, 12 trials, 1,025 participants), and although the p value was close to the significance level, it still showed a trend that esketamine may shorten the length of stay in the PACU. 3.4.5.
