In relation to other dental occlusion values, the cases presented a significant trend towards an edge-to-edge and/or inverted overjet (41 cases, 68.3%, vs. 288 controls, 49.6%; p = 0.002), as well as posterior crossbite occlusion (14 cases, 23.3%, versus 18 controls, 3.1% p < 0.001); no such trend appeared for overbite ( p = 0.081) (Table 3 ).
