The rates of major neurological morbidity in preterm deliveries stratified by indication for delivery demonstrated that the rate in those delivered for iatrogenic indications was 17.4% (4/23) compared to 54.7% (41/75) if the delivery was spontaneous, but this difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.151).
