The authors combined those taking three drugs—citalopram ( n = 24), trazodone ( n = 64) and sertraline ( n = 37)—that were trending towards significance into one category, the so-called “antiviral serotine reuptake inhibitors” and found that there was greater protection from detectable HIV RNA in the CSF (OR: 0.56, p = 0.02).
