In a study conducted in Jordan among hospitalised patients with CKD, the majority of DRPs (62%) were classified among the significant category; however, the study used a different scale (extremely significant, much significant, significant and slightly significant). 25 In a study conducted in Canada, approximately half of the observed DRPs were moderate in severity in terms of causing harm to patients with CKD. 26 The different scales used in severity assessment across the literature make the comparison seem challenging.
