In addition, in a study that compared CCTA to SE, patients undergoing CCTA showed a trend toward a higher rate of subsequent bypass surgeries though not statistically significant ( P = 0.81).[ 24 ] The integration of CT perfusion (CTP) imaging to CCTA was found to correlate with decreased unnecessary invasive procedures ( P = 0.0001) according to Sørgaard et al .[ 26 ] [ Table 2 ].
