Interestingly, despite the relatively low incidence of CIP in clinical trials, which is around 5%, the actual data from the real world suggest that the incidence of CIP could be as high as 20%, and the percentage of patients with severe pneumonia is quite significant [ 4 , 15 , 16 , 28 ].
