In a retrospective, longitudinal analysis of medical records, PWH at risk of weight gain and on an INSTI-based regimen showed a trend toward favorable weight and body mass index (BMI) outcomes after switching to a PI-based regimen versus switching to another INSTI-based regimen; differences in outcomes widened over 9 to 12 months post–ARV switch [ 14 ].
