At 21-day-old, broilers fed with DON diet exhibited an increasing trend of MDA level within jejunal mucosa and mitochondria ( P = 0.074 and P = 0.054), and MDA level of jejunal mitochondria in the DJ group was significantly higher than that in the CON group ( P < 0.05).
plantarum JM113 showed a tendency to reduce Pink1 expression and significantly decreased the expression of Beclin1, Atg5, and p62 at 7-day-old ( P = 0.081 and P < 0.05), it also showed a trend of reducing the gene expression of Beclin1 and LC3-II and significantly downregulated the gene expression of Pink1, Parkin, Atg5, p62, and LC3-I at 21-day-old ( P = 0.084, P = 0.058 and P < 0.05).
When comparing the DJ group with the CON group and DON group, the MDA level of jejunal mitochondria had a decreasing trend and significantly decreased respectively at 7-day-old ( P = 0.064 and P < 0.05).
